What's in a name

What's in a name? Many of our wines use the name of the parcels of wine they come from for example "Clos des Roussettes". Others use a generic term - "L'expression" or "Patrimoine". Nothing wrong with that. But what I like is where there is a little story. The village of Tresserre in the Roussillon is said to have been the habitation of sorcerers. This has inspired Jean-Baptiste Trilles to name his wines "Initiation" and "Incantation" (Spell). As he says on the back label this is a magic combination of Syrah and Grenache that will cast a spell on you.
