Chateau Bousquette

Chateau Bousquette

Chateau Bousquet is in the beautiful mountainous St Chinian region. The vineyards are set amongst the garrigue, little else is grown here.

The estate covers 25 hectares, but yields are very low. Total production is only 50-60,000 bottles a year. That is only 3 to 4 truckloads. The wines are characterised by their intense flavours that linger. Lovely examples of what can be produced from low yields matched with traditional vinification techniques - long cuvaisons and the extended maturation that is rarely found today.

The Chateau has had organic status since 1972.
