Charcuterie

Charcuterie

The French adore charcuterie. Each region has their own specialities. Enjoy these wines with ham, sausage and paté.

The Maury Sec is particularly good with a really good dry-cured ham (jambon cru).

Loire reds such  are excellent with pate and rillettes - a speciality of the region.

Domaine Trilles Tio Tio is an easy drinking red ideal with saucisson or salami on a picnic.

A full dry rosé is wonderful with charcuterie, especially in the summer. In fact this is what many French people would take. Try a bottle with some of the wonderful artisan charcuterie products that are now being produced in this country.
