What a choice!

We recently spent 2 days in Paris at the new wine show "Wine Paris". There were more than 2,000 exhibitors from all over France. It was a great opportunity for us to meet up with our producers, to taste the new vintage , and to meet some new people. The small and medium size producers present represent the very best of French wine. There were thousands of very good wines, and some great ones.

For us the show was really useful , but there were very few people from the UK. The main UK buyers missed out on a fantastic opportunity to discover new wines. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, the big operators focus more and more on a limited supply base of big producers. It is just so sad that the best French wines are so difficult to find in this country.
