Variety is the spice of life

Visits to Vinisud (920 exhibitors) and Milesime bio (903 exhibitors) reminded me what a diverse wine world we live in. I tasted some great wines. There’s a plethora of interesting distinctive wines out there to discover. Why are they so difficult to find in the UK? The answer is simple! Our main retailers are focused on price and efficiency. I'm optimistic that one day this will change . In the meantime it’s up small specialist importers and and independent wine stores to bring you a taste of the individual and quirky wines that are out out there.
