Rich aromas of exotic fruit, citrus and coconut. On the palate there are hints of citrus, peach, lychee, coconut and almonds, all underpinned by a most delightful freshness which lingers. Very mineral on the finish.
Grapes grown naturally (Terra Vitis), close to the famous Roche de Solutré are fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then matured on the fine lees in oak barrels for 16 months before further ageing in bottle.
Wonderful to drink now, but will also keep for many years. This is a fine wine from the Maconais to rival those from the famous villages of the Cote d'Or.
