Barrel-fermented Chenin Blanc. A real Loire speciality. Fresh and crisp with hints of greengage and vanilla on the nose. Elegant minerality and hints of citrus on the palate. The barrels used are old - serving to soften and add complexity to the wine without dominating it.
Delightful with fish, chicken and mild cheeses. Ideal with rich, creamy sauces. Drinking very well now, but will continue to mature - Good Loire Chenin Blancs are amongst the most long-lived of all wines.
