Vines and bees

Winegrowers are generally passionate about their land. They are close to it and rely on it for their prosperity. This is one reason why you often see roses and other flowers planted in the vineyards. They want to encourage bees to pollinate the vines. It’s also why you see more vineyards where grass is allowed to grow between the rows. Growers are looking to eliminate or at least reduce the chemicals they use. Weedkillers are rarely used these days.
