Deep and dark in colour. Very full nose with dark fruit flavours and vanilla notes. Wonderfully full flavours - really fills the mouth. Ideal with a rich stew or cassoulet.
Hand harvested Fer Servadou and a little Cabernet Sauvignon are hand-picked from older vines on limestone terraces. After a long cuvaison the wine is matured for a year in oak, and then in bottle.
Awaited a "coup de coeur" by the Guide Hachette, France's foremost wine review.
