Wines made from old bush vines in the warm Roussillon are perfect with hearty casseroles. Domaine de La Trilles Calignan made from 100 year old vines is great with Cassoulet. A wine made soft by maturation in old oak barrels, it is full and rich. A favourite of mine!
Domaine de La Toupie Maury Sec has intense sweet fruit flavours derived from very old Grenache grapes grown at altitude.
